Yoga Therapy Group Class: This is a gentle yoga class with focus on mindful breath and slow movement to aid in stress relief. The majority of poses are done on the floor with a few standing poses depending on the class. Modifications and props are offered to accommodate all types of bodies and yoga experience.
Hatha Yoga Class: This is a more active yoga class with focus on linking breath and movement (asana) to strengthen and balance the mind and body. Poses are sequenced to prepare, challenge, and then relax the body. Many poses are done standing with some partial weight-bearing on the hands. Modifications and props are offered. Ideal for those who have minimal physical limitations. No yoga experience is required.
Private Yoga Therapy Consultation: I will do a physical assessment, review your intake form and create a customized plan to meet your needs. Your home practice may include meditation, breath work, somatics,yoga and restorative poses.
